Terms & Conditions & Cancellation Policy
By making a reservation and submitting payment, the Guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 8 days or more prior to the scheduled charter date are eligible for a full refund of all payments received.
- Cancellations made 7 days or less before the scheduled charter date are non-refundable.
- In the event of cancellation within seven (7) days of departure, the full charter price shall be due and payable, regardless of the amount previously paid.
2. Authorization to Charge Payment Method
By confirming this reservation and accepting these Terms & Conditions, the Guest expressly authorizes Pisces Sportfishing & Yachts to charge the payment method provided for any unpaid balance due if:
- The reservation is cancelled within seven (7) days of the scheduled departure date;
- The Guest fails to appear for the scheduled charter ("No Show"); or
- Payment has not otherwise been completed in accordance with the booking agreement.
The Guest agrees that these charges are authorized under this agreement and waives any claim that such charges are unauthorized.
3. No Shows
Failure to arrive for the scheduled charter without prior cancellation shall constitute a No Show, and the full charter amount will be charged.
4. Fishing Licenses, Food & Beverage
To minimize unnecessary costs to our guests, fishing licenses and any pre-ordered lunches, beverages, catering, or other consumable items are typically purchased a day or two before the scheduled charter whenever possible. This practice is intended to help clients avoid these expenses in the event of a port closure or other unforeseen circumstance prior to purchase.
Once purchased, fishing licenses, lunches, beverages, catering, and all other consumable items are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including client cancellation, weather conditions, port closures, force majeure events, or changes to the charter schedule.
5. Port Closures & Force Majeure
If the Port Captain or other authorized government officials officially close the port and the charter cannot depart, Pisces Sportfishing & Yachts will provide either:
- A full refund of the charter payment; or
- The opportunity to reschedule the charter, subject to availability.
Fishing licenses, food, beverages, and other consumable items that have already been purchased remain non-refundable.
6. Mechanical Issues
In the unlikely event of a mechanical issue affecting the reserved vessel, Pisces Sportfishing & Yachts will make every reasonable effort to provide a comparable replacement vessel of similar size and quality.
If no suitable replacement vessel is available, the Guest may elect to reschedule or receive a full refund of the charter payment, excluding any non-refundable licenses, food, beverages, or other consumable purchases.
7. Crew Assignments
Pisces Sportfishing & Yachts will make every reasonable effort to provide the captain and crew members advertised or requested for each vessel.
However, due to scheduling changes, illness, personal emergencies, operational requirements, or other unforeseen circumstances, crew assignments may change without prior notice. Such substitutions shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.
8. Vessel Substitutions & Operational Changes
Pisces Sportfishing & Yachts reserves the right to substitute vessels, modify departure times, itineraries, or crew assignments as necessary due to operational requirements, safety considerations, weather conditions, maintenance needs, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Comparable substitute vessels may be provided when available.
9. Early Return
No refunds or partial credits will be issued for charters that return early at the Guest's request, including but not limited to seasickness, weather discomfort, fatigue, personal preference, or any other voluntary reason.
10. Tournament Charters
Tournament charter cancellations must be made at least forty-five (45) days prior to the scheduled departure date to qualify for a refund.
Cancellations made within forty-five (45) days of departure are non-refundable, and the full charter amount will be due.
