MARLIN: We are delighted that fishing continues to be so fantastic, with plenty of fish of all types available throughout the week. Most of the boats had marlin, shark plus several found the tuna. It seems that most of the marlin have taken up residence at the 11.50 spot which continued to produce multiple catches

MARLIN: We are so pleased that fishing has stayed on track and continues to improve after a season of scarcity during the last few months. Even with a big moon the fish were not deterred and gave a good showing all week.

We are sooooo happy to finally have some stable striped marlin catches and in fact there were our top catch this week. Pisces Rebecca lead the way with four marlin up to 140 LBS and a pilot shark released on May 7th for Michael Francesconi and party from Georgia at the 11.50 spot.

Marlin catches increased this week, but not by much. Almost all marlin caught this week were caught this Friday...

This week was another slow one for marlin with a gorgeous full moon not helping either. Pisces Rebecca was one of the few boats that had a good day on April 19th off of Punta Gorda on April 19th.

Marlin numbers were up slightly from last week, but are still nowhere as good as we would like them to be. We checked last years’ fish report and saw that it was pretty much the same as this year.
